6″ x 6″ Wedding Mini Album

This is a wedding album that I made for a friends wedding.

The pages of this album are made with a single 12″ x 12″ piece of paper. In the way the paper is folded this creates four pages. So to make a 12 page album you only need 3 sheets of 12″ x 12″ paper. Flip ups, flip downs and flip outs can be created to make space for lots of pockets, tags, and full size photos. Of course I had to embellished the back of my album. I like doing that with my cards and albums because I can and it’s another surface to make pretty that often gets ignored.

Mother of the Bride Survival Kit

I made this kit for a friend of mine whose daughter is getting married this summer.

This is a simple monochromatic card with a quilled flower. The camera doesn’t show the glimmer mist though.

The contents of the survival kit. I added in a brag book just because and a fancy pin that can be used as a brooch later.

Boxed Cover Wedding Mini Album

This is a custom wedding album that I made. The cover is 6 1/2″ x 8″.

The cover (the front, back, spine and side opposite the spine for a wrap around) is made with chipboard. That’s why I call it a boxed cover.

Here you can see the wrap around cover that creates the “boxed” cover. It has a magnetic closure.

I like to stuff my mini albums full of tags and pockets, pockets within pockets and photo mats and interactive pieces to keep the viewer interested and guessing.

This album has 6 very stuffed pages. The binding has a 3/8″ gusset on each page and a three piece spine that allows the album to lay flat when open.

The back cover has an envelope for storing ephemera that may not be acid free.
